ecoCOOLING™ Combo Solutions
Integrated - fully functional solution in one package
The Combo Solutions are ideal for customers requiring a compact solution that only occupies one side of the enclosure. This solution eliminates door/cut out on the cabinet or roof exhaust. There is no need for additional heat management solutions on the enclosure (Direct Air Cooling and comparable), as the built-in DC operated Heat Exchanger functions as the back up.
The Combo units match the cut-out dimensions of a standard 6K and 8K Air Conditioner from Dantherm. This eliminates costly changes to cut-outs in the enclosure. Whether the requirement is for an Air Conditioner or a Combo unit, the enclosure will accommodate both from Dantherm.
The Combo units have, like all other Dantherm products, been designed with the service technician in mind. All major parts are accessible from the front and the top, eliminating the need to remove the unit from the enclosure. This means less time and money spent in the field. An optional filter can also be quickly replaced from the outside by loosening just one tamper-proof screw.
ecoCOOLING™ units operate in 3 modes:
1. Heat Exchanger operation only when the ambient temperature is lower than the internal air/ Internal temperature is below the set point
2. Air Conditioner operation only when the ambient air is higher than the internal air / Internal temperature is higher than the set point
3. Dual Operation (Heat Exchanger and Air Conditioner) when the ambient air is lower than the internal air / Internal temperature is higher than the set point
The Heat Exchanger functions as the master since it operates on DC. If communication for any reason is lost between the two units, they switch to independent mode and continue operating within set parameters.
