With both Carbon Dioxide Emissions and Operating Costs getting increased attention in the Telecom industry, Dantherm has taken the initiative and developed solutions to address both challenges. The solution is the new ecoCOOLING™ product line using Patent Pending technology to combine the best from two worlds:
Heat Exchanger for above ambient cooling
Air Conditioner for below ambient cooling
With new advanced electronics and software, we have combined a Heat Exchanger and an Air Conditioner to work together, integrated into a single combo unit or separately as a networked solution.
ecoCOOLING™ units operate in 3 modes:
1. Heat Exchanger operation only when the ambient temperature is lower than the internal air/ Internal temperature is below the set point
2. Air Conditioner operation only when the ambient air is higher than the internal air / Internal temperature is higher than the set point
3. Dual Operation (Heat Exchanger and Air Conditioner) when the ambient air is lower than the internal air / Internal temperature is higher than the set point
The Heat Exchanger functions as the master since it operates on DC. If communication for any reason is lost between the two units, they switch to independent mode and continue operating within set parameters.
